The Commissioner of Police for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Benneth Igweh, has ordered an investigation into the alleged killing of Khalid Ahmed Bichi, a staff member of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).
According to a statement issued by the FCT Police Command on Sunday, Bichi’s untimely demise occurred on May 10, 2024, around 8:45 pm, prompting CP Igweh to order a thorough and discreet investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The statement expressed profound condolences to the bereaved family and condemned the alleged act, promising swift justice.
It assured the public that efforts were underway to apprehend the perpetrator(s).
CP Igweh reaffirmed the FCT Police Command’s commitment to enhancing the security landscape of the territory, adapting strategies to combat evolving criminal activities.
