The Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) has issued a statement calling on former National Chairman of the council, Yusuf Sani, to emulate the peaceful conduct of former President Goodluck Jonathan and avoid causing trouble within the organization.
IPAC recently held its election on December 18, resulting in the emergence of Yusuf Dantalle as the new chairman.
Despite initially accepting defeat and congratulating Dantalle, Sani has since taken legal action to stop the inauguration of the newly elected IPAC National Executives.

In a statement signed by Chinyere Ogekalu, the National Publicity Secretary of IPAC, the organization expressed concern over Sani’s actions, questioning the motive behind his sudden shift after initially accepting the election results.
The statement emphasized the need for Sani to prioritize the stability of IPAC, which serves as a vital platform for political parties in Nigeria, over personal ambitions.
IPAC warned that any further attempts to disrupt the council’s operations would be viewed unfavorably by history.
The organization also raised doubts about the court order obtained by Sani, suggesting that it may have been obtained under false pretenses given the timing of its issuance after Sani’s tenure had already expired.
IPAC’s message to Sani serves as a plea for responsible leadership and respect for democratic processes within the organization, urging him to reconsider his actions and uphold the values of transparency and fair play.
