JAMB has picked new dates for the commencement of UTME exams.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has agreed on April 11 as the date the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will begin, and it scheduled to hold for a full week.
The board also revealed that the mock examination that was supposed to hold on March 23 will now happen on April 1.
The main exam was meant to take place on March 23 but the postponement of the general elections prevented it from happening.
The sale or registration forms to all candidates (UTME/DE) including those outside Nigeria, began January 10 and ended February 21.
JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, recently revealed that the alterations were due to ”certain circumstances beyond the Board’s control.”
