Media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu revealed today, Wednesday August 10, 2016, that his wife Cynthia prays for him for an hour each day.
When a Twitter user asked him why he is taking and sharing ‘glowed up’ pictures during these hard times, the ‘Rubbin Minds’ host replied saying “My wife prays for me for one hour everyday. I’m blessed!!!”
Ebuka’s reply is most likely a tongue-in-cheek reference to Pastor Adeboye’s advice to men in his church should marry a woman who can’t pray for up to an hour daily.
Pastor Adeboye’s statement went viral as some people felt that the popular man of God’s statement was sexist.
The TV host who recently got married on February, 6th 2016 to his heartthrob, Cynthia shared details of his honeymoon.
According to him, they had different places in mind. He wanted Tokyo, while she wanted Singapore. They finally settled on Sentosa Island, Singapore and lodged at the Sofitel Sentosa Island Resort.
“Tokyo was my preferred destination but as I was starting to learn, in marriage, the couple (read as ‘the wife’) decides these things.Thankfully, my wife also loves Asia and is also a fan of big cities like me. So while we both agreed that we wanted a big city in Asia we had different places in mind. I wanted Tokyo, while she wanted Singapore. So Singapore it was” he told Shackle Tourist.
The couple have also begun their 9-month journey to bliss. Cynthia debuted her bump at singer Omawumi’s birthday bash before confirming the news via social media.
