The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Anambra state chapter have shared their worry over the predictions of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, about intense moves by some people to Islamize Nigeria and spread poverty in specific ethnic groups.
State chairman of CAN, Rev. John Ndubuisi disclosed this yesterday at the All Saints’ Anglican Church Cathedral, Onitsha, Anambra State, during a prayer session organized by the state chapter of CAN, to ask God to intervene during this present insecurity problem allegedly instigated by Fulani herdsmen and members of Miyetti Allah in Nigeria
John said even if he is not aware of how Nnamdi got his information, it is turning out to be correct.
He begged Christians to always be watchful, saying that their prayer should be aimed at urging God for intervention during this trying time.
These members of the CAN that were present at the rally, Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria, CSN are Christian Council of Nigeria, CCN; Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN; Organization of African Instituted Churches, OAIC and Evangelical Church of West Africaa and ECWA.
