The Nigeria Police Force’s ongoing recruitment for Constables has attracted over 22,000 applications from individuals across the 20 Local Government Areas of Bauchi State.
The applicants are currently undergoing a rigorous screening process at the Police Training School in Bauchi.
The screening process, which commenced on Monday, involves thorough scrutiny by various government agencies, including the Police Service Commission, Federal Character Commission, Ministry of Police Affairs, Bauchi State Office of the Head of Service, State Civil Service Commission, and Police Training Department.

Speaking to journalists at the screening venue, Assistant Chief of Police Service Commission, Angulu Kadiri, expressed satisfaction with the progress of the exercise, noting that it has been conducted without any significant challenges.
He assured that all eligible applicants with the required documents would undergo the screening process as scheduled.
Kadiri commended the support and cooperation received from the Bauchi State Government and the State Police Command throughout the exercise.
Regarding the number of recruits allotted to Bauchi State, he affirmed that the state would receive its designated quota, emphasizing that every state has a specific number of recruits allocated to it.
The ongoing recruitment process underscores the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to strengthen its ranks and enhance security across the country, with Bauchi State poised to contribute its share to this endeavor.
