A Nigerian Voter casting his vote during an electionThe Independent National Electoral Commission has okayed political campaigns for all political parties in Nigeria after disagreeing with it initially.

They revealed this in a recent statement, “After consultations with political parties, the Commission has approved that campaigns by parties and candidates can resume forthwith to end by midnight of Thursday, 21st February, 2019.”

INEC shifted the presidential and National Assembly elections dates from February 16 to February 23 citing logistics concerns.
