Barring any last-minute changes, President Bola Tinubu is set to swear in seven new ministers on Monday at the Council Chamber of the State House, Abuja.
The President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed this on X, announcing that the swearing-in will proceed as scheduled. “President Bola Tinubu will swear in the new seven ministers tomorrow, Monday,” he wrote.
The newly appointed ministers include Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda as Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Muhammadu Dingyadi as Minister of Labour and Employment, and Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.
Others are Dr. Jumoke Oduwole as Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Idi Maiha as Minister of Livestock Development, Yusuf Ata as Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, and Dr. Suwaiba Ahmad as Minister of State for Education.
This follows the Senate’s confirmation of the seven nominees on October 31 after a thorough screening process. Earlier, on October 23, President Tinubu had reassigned 10 ministers to new portfolios, relieved five others, and nominated seven new ministers for the vacant positions.
