The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has started academic activities with admissions processes at its newly established Redeemed College of Technology and Management (RECTEM), at the Redemption City in Ogun State.
Pastor Enoch Adeboye said the school was established to raise champions in the technology and management fields.
The Rector, Prof. Adedeji Daramola, said the college currently has four schools, with eight departments.
They are: School of Science and Technology, with the Departments of Computer Science and Science Laboratory Technology (SLT), School of Management Studies, with the Departments of Business Administration as well as Management and Accountancy.
The other schools are: School of Engineering Technology, with the Departments of Computer and Electrical/Electronics Engineering, respectively, and the School of Environmental Science, with the Departments of Architecture, Estate Management and Quantity Surveying.
Daramola noted that the school stands out because of its intense drive for research and development in technology, as well as innovation. “RECTEM is an avant-garde technological institution poised to providing its students with an education that combines rigorous academic study and the excitement of practical exploratory and discovery through real life simulations.”
