    Rhonda Russell Joins Nextech Systems' Leadership Team as Chief Operating Officer

    TAMPA, FL–(Marketwired – April 08, 2014) – Nextech, a leading provider of fully integrated electronic medical records (EMR), practice management, revenue management, patient engagement and mobility solutions for specialty physician practices, today announced the appointment of Rhonda Russell as the company’s new chief operating officer (COO). Russell brings more than 20 years of experience managing operations, overseeing product implementation and leading professional services to her position at Nextech. As COO, Russell will leverage her strategic planning and operational management experience to help Nextech advance its position in the industry.

    Before joining Nextech, Russell held multiple executive positions at McKesson Corporation, where she managed process improvements and change management initiatives for over 20 years. Prior to her role at McKesson, Russell served in multiple healthcare consultant roles at Datacare, Inc., Deloitte & Touche and Durham County Hospital Corporation. Russell started her healthcare career as a registered nurse at Duke University Medical Center.
