President Muhammadu Buhari has called ex-President, Goodluck Jonathan to sympathize with him after an attack by gunmen on his Otuoke country residence in Bayelsa.
Buhari’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, confirmed this development in a statement in Abuja on Tuesday.
PMB expressed his shock after the tragic and unfortunate attack that resulted in the loss of life for one courageous soldier.
Hailing the soldiers on guard for preventing further damages, Buhari condoled with family members as well as officers and men of the Nigerian Army over the loss of one of the guards.
He added that safeguarding the life of GEJ and Nigerians will never stop to be his government’s focus.
May his soul R.I.P.
