The Social Democratic Party (SDP), yesterday, denied allegation that it had endorsed the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Muhammadu Buhari.

The party, which had earlier endorsed President Goodluck Jonathan for re-election was alleged to have withdrawn same to pitch tent with the opposition’s candidate.

The SDP, however, said that its endorsement of President Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), remained unchanged. It said further that it was committed to the adoption of PDP candidate for Saturday’s presidential election.

The clarification was made in Abuja by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Dr Abdul Isiaq. He debunked claims that the party and 12 other political parties endorsed the candidature of Buhari for the forthcoming election.
