President Goodluck Jonathan has expressed shock over the bomb blast which in the early hours of Monday at Nyanyan satelite town of Federal capital territory claimed several lives.
Commiserating with the families of victims of the attack, Jonathan said the Boko Haram issue was temporary as the country would get over it.
He visited the scene of the bomb blast with the Senate President, David Mark and Chairman of PDP, Adamu Muazu Ministers, Chief of Defence Staff, service chiefs, and all other very senior government functionaries.
Jonathan also expressed condolences to the families of those who suffered directly on the incident.
“I am also commending security services for their prompt action. Though we lost quiet a number of people, we condole with our countrymen and women. We will continue to work very hard.
“The issue of Boko Haram is temporary. Government is doing everything to make sure that we move our country forward in spite of all the distractions that want to take us backward.
