President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Saturday arrived in Ogun State to inaugurate several major projects, including the Gateway International Airport in Iperu and the unveiling of Gateway Air with its fleet of aircraft.
The commissioning ceremony was attended by Governor Dapo Abiodun and former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Among the projects inaugurated are the Gateway International Airport, Iperu, the launch of Gateway Air and its aircraft, as well as the distribution of electric bikes (EV bikes).
Also commissioned was a 30-megawatt Independent Power Plant located at Onijanganjangan near Ewekoro, developed by the Ogun State Government.
The projects are part of efforts by the state government to boost infrastructure, transportation and power supply in the state.
