The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nentawe Yilwatda, has described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the party’s biggest asset, expressing confidence that he is strategically positioned to secure a second term in office in 2027.
Yilwatda made the remarks in Abuja during the APC North-West Youth Mobilisation Meet-and-Greet programme hosted by the Minister of State for Works, Bello Goronyo.

According to him, several factors will strengthen President Tinubu’s re-election bid, including increased youth participation, visible outcomes of government policies, the party’s expanding national presence, and the use of data-driven mobilisation strategies.
He noted that Tinubu’s leadership style, combined with the APC’s growing grassroots penetration, has earned the party recognition as the largest political party in Africa, adding that its acceptance continues to spread across the country.
“Every day we keep on receiving more governors. Every day we keep on receiving more National Assembly members.
“We receive market women. We receive farmers. We receive students,” Yilwatda said.
The APC chairman also stressed the importance of unity and loyalty within the party, urging members to remain committed ahead of future elections.
“This party is your biggest asset. The President is our biggest asset. Let us stand by this party,” he added.
