President Donald Trump has again insisted that the United States will not allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons.
Trump made the remarks on Friday at the White House while presenting a trophy to the Commander-in-Chief of the U.S. Navy football team.
He stressed that preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear capability remains a top priority for the United States.

“We’re not going to let them have nuclear weapons,” he said.
Trump also highlighted the strength of the U.S. Navy, describing it as unmatched globally.
“We have the greatest Navy anywhere in the world. It’s not even close,” he added.
The former president maintained that allowing Iran to develop nuclear weapons would pose a serious global threat.
“If they had them, they’d use them, and we’re not going to let that happen,” he said.
Trump further suggested that previous administrations should have taken stronger action earlier, noting that such measures ought to have been implemented long ago.
He concluded by commending the athletes and officials present at the event, describing them as outstanding representatives of the country.
