    Turn Makes Big Data Intuitive and Actionable for Marketers With Major Platform Upgrade

    REDWOOD CITY, CA–(Marketwired – Mar 26, 2014) – Turn (turn.com), the marketing software and analytics platform, today announced significant upgrades and new features for the three applications that make up its real-time marketing software suite. These new features add enhanced reporting, analytics and campaign management capabilities — improving speed to insight and action for marketers. Highlights include:

    • Improved reporting and visualizations. Turn introduced Report Center 2.0, a dramatically upgraded workflow for building and sharing campaign performance reports in a visually engaging, easy-to-understand way. Available from Audience Suite and Campaign Suite, Report Center provides marketing teams and their agencies with a unified, real-time view of their most important metrics.
    • Enhancements to DataMine Analytics. The big data analytics solution allows marketers to act on all their valuable data in order to gain insights and enhance ROI. New and upgraded features that improve usability include pre-defined queries that enable quicker time-to-ramp for marketers, performance improvements that improve query speed by 17%, data sampling, and the ability to browse all data attributes before running queries. With a new card-based user interface, DataMine finally brings a simple and intuitive approach to analytics.
    • Expansion of available Deal ID inventory sources. The Campaign Suite cross-channel media execution platform was upgraded with the addition of new programmatic direct partners utilizing Deal ID, including AdX (Google) for mobile, LiveRail for video and RMX (Yahoo!) for display. Turn offers access to premium inventory from over 100 publishers through its 10 Deal ID integrations, and is the largest provider of brand-safe inventory in the marketplace.

      Deal ID works like a flag in a programmatic system that indicates the structure of a deal between a buyer and a seller. It allows publishers and exchange partners to work with advertisers to facilitate direct, programmatic access to high quality inventory. Existing Turn Deal ID partners include AdX, Index by Casale Media, Improve Digital, Pubmatic, and Rubicon Project.

    • Faster access to second-party data. The Audience Suite cross-channel data management platform (DMP) was upgraded with new APIs that enable marketers, agencies, and data vendors to set up and modify contracts up to six times faster than before. Now through Audience Suite, marketers can create custom audience segments that marketers’ competitors cannot access, improving campaign results.

      Additionally, Turn unveiled an enhanced Audience Suite interface. This new, streamlined workflow makes the Turn DMP the most intuitive in the world, helping marketers easily plan their digital advertising campaigns.
