According to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), West Ham forward Victor Moses has withdrawn from Nigeria friendly matches against the DR Congo and Cameroon.
The Super Eagles will face the Leopards of Congo in Vise on Thursday, 8 October, and then pit their wits against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in Dendermonde on Sunday, 11 October.
Moses’ withdrawal, according to a correspondence through Super Eagles Administrator, Enebi Achor, is a precautionary move against injury.
On-loan Kasimpasa defender, Kenneth Omeruo, will also miss the friendlies through injury.
The Turkish club expects the Chelsea loanee to be out for just two weeks, which means he could be back in time for the Eagles’ 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifying match against the winner of the Djibouti-Swaziland first-round tie.
