Former deputy president, Yemi Osinbajo has appointed Dayo Apata as the new Solicitor-General of the Federation.
The Presidency announced this in a statement issued on Friday, August 11.
Apata had been a solicitor-general and permanent secretary of the ministry of justice in Ekiti between 2010 and 2014.
He was also legal adviser at the National Planning Ministry and also held several sensitive assignments.
