Oyo State Governor Abiola Ajimobi has explained why his administration has embarked on massive road construction, noting that good road network is of great importance to rapid socio-economic development.

Ajimobi made this known, weekend, while addressing traders at the popular Bodija Market when he visited traders.

Ajimobi, while responding to the request of financial support by the traders, assured them that his administration would initiate a cooperative loan that would be of immense benefit to the traders.

The governor also assured the traders that a befitting hospital would be provided for them to complement the one earlier constructed by Hon. Abiodun Awoleye, a federal lawmaker representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency.
