The Nasarawa State Government is collaborating with two NGOs to tackle Family Planning (FP) barriers and reduce maternal mortality in the state. The World Health Organization (WHO) has deployed investigation team to the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) following reported outbreak of the Ebola virus in the country. A High Court in Abuja has issued a garnishee order directing the police to pay the incorporated trustees of Peace Corps of Nigeria and its National Commandant, Ambassador, Dickson Akoh a sum of N11,270,000. Over 160 buildings were destroyed by a rainstorm which wreaked havoc on four villages in Potiskum Local Government Area of Yobe on Wednesday.
