A 43-year-old man, Francis Essien, on Friday appeared in a Tinubu Magistrates’ Court in Lagos for allegedly being in possession and circulation of fake currency to buy newspaper from a vendor. Police have confirmed the murder of two other people by unidentified assailants in Gudum Siyawa, a suburb of Bauchi. In two separate incidents, they were attacked on Saturday while returning from their farm.
