The Department of State Services (DSS) has alleged that Ifeanyi Ubah, Capital Oil boss, diverted about 80 million litres of petrol. The product worth N11 billion was said to have been kept in Ubah’s custody by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). The agency said the oil mogul failed to respond to NNPC’s repeated demand for the product in order to cause an artificial petrol scarcity, which could cause a major economic crisis in the country.
