Ogun State Government has released N1.5 billion for the payment of gratuities to pensioners and severance package of former political office holders. The money will be paid to 561 ex-civil servants and former political office holders who had served the State in different capacities. The flyover bridge and road construction embarked upon by the Ogun State Government in Sabo, Sagamu Local Government Area of the State will be completed by May 2014. Farmers planting cocoa in the Ogun State government-owned forest reserves and the State Ministry of Forestry have entered into a new agreement on how to regenerate the reserves.
