The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has arrested a 39-year-old South African woman at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, with $373,725 (N74.4million) and €2,120 (N450,000) concealed inside packs of oats. In a statement Thursday, the agency said the money was detected during an inward screening of passengers on a South African airline flight from Johannesburg. The Inspector-General of Police, Suleiman Abba, has ordered a restriction of movement during Saturday’s governorship and state House of Assembly elections. The directive was contained in a statement issued Thursday by the Force spokesman, CP Emmanuel Ojukwu. According to the statement, the restriction of movement will begin from 8am to 5pm on Saturday, April 11, 2015 only.
