CBN Gov Lamido Sanusi
Kano State Governor Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, on Saturday, asked President Goodluck Jonathan to cease to harass CBN Governor, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.

Kwankwaso, who spoke against the backdrop of a shaky relationship between the president and the CBN governor, stated that Sanusi is no ordinary Nigerian.

Kwankwaso, who defended his kinsman, said ”Let me use this opportunity to call on the FG to desist from harassing our citizens. Here I am referring to our son, the CBN Governor, Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi”.

”There is nothing wrong when the CBN governor says, ‘Please, check these figures to ensure probity’. Such a person should be seen as a friend not an enemy”.
