Akuku-Toru Local Government Caretaker Committee (CTC) Chairman, Mr. Fenibo Jack has assigned portfolios to members of the recently inaugurated Committee of the Council.
Mr. Jack assigned portfolios to them during a press conference at the Council Secretariat in Abonnema the Council headquarters.
The CTC Chairman also announced the appointment of other political aides who will assist him to run the affairs of the administration.
He urged them to see their appointments as a call to service, rather than personal enrichment.
He advised them to give him the necessary support, as to take Akuku-Toru to the next level within the short period of his administration, as well as to ensure total victory for the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the area.
Those appointed are, Tamunosaki Jack, supervisor for Works and Housing, Juliet Philip-Education and Women Affairs, Afonyaa Anabraba – Health, Kama Briggs-Commerce and Industry, Kelvin Briggs – Youth Development and Ibiba Obene-Water Resources and Rural Development.
Others are Tubotein Moses-Secretary (Special Duties), Samuel Dabibi – Secretary (Establishment) Telema Smart – Jack Chief of Staff, Tonye Briggs-Deputy Chief of Staff, Stanley Benibo – Executive Assistant Secretary, Nicholas Ikiriko – Executive Assistant Secretary (Administration).
They also include Robinson Quarkers, Chief Security Officer, Ibingo Whyte-Chief details, Chief (Dr) Broadfield Michael Jack Executive Assistant (Chieftaincy Affairs) Daboikiabo Jack-Executive Assistant (Political Affair) Omuboye Sukubo-Executive Assistant (Media), Mrs. Ikataba Jack Executive Assistant (Environment), Ominini Bibi- Executive Assistant (Agriculture) Sunday Kiri Executive Assistant (Protocol).

Speaking on behalf of the appointees, the supervisor for Works and Housing, Mr. Tamunosaki Jack, thanked the CTC Chairman for the gesture and assured him that they will give him the necessary support, to achieve the needed development in Akuku-Toru.
