Information available to the media revealed that the incident happened at the venue of the caucus’ weekly meeting; Saint John Grammar School, Oke Atan Area, Ile-Ife, around 5pm.

It was gathered that the hoodlums, numbering about 20, stormed the venue of the meeting fully armed with guns, machetes and clubs and attacked members as they held their meeting.

The TOP members alleged that the hoodlums are loyal to an APC chieftain in Okerewe Ward 2, Tajudeen Lawal.
