MCLEAN, VA–(Marketwired – March 24, 2014) – immixGroup, Inc., which helps technology companies do business with the government, has named industry veteran Ray Miles to the newly-created position of Systems Integrator Alliance Manager. The position became effective March 1, 2014.
In this role, Ray is responsible for driving incremental revenue for immixGroup and its clients through the Air Force’s Network Centric Solutions 2 (NETCENTS-2) and DHS Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) contracts. He also will help immixGroup’s clients forge stronger relationships with the federal systems integrator community. His responsibilities will include not only large systems integrators and private companies, but also technology providers with systems integration capabilities.
Air Force customers are required to buy through the NETCENTS-2 contract, while other DOD services may use the contract to procure hardware and software. CDM is a Blanket Purchase Agreement that provides cyber security and Continuous Monitoring-as-a-Service (CMaaS) solutions to government.
Before joining immixGroup, Ray led MicroTech’s Product Solutions division to more than $100M in sales growth. He was the founder of Enterprise Strategies Inc. (ESI), a value-added reseller of Siemens-PLM software products.
Ray is also a 30-year veteran of the DOD and federal government contracting industry. After serving four years of active duty in the Air Force and another four years as a Contracts Specialist for HQ USMC Pentagon, he enjoyed an 18-year career with the Northrop Grumman Companies (Logicon/TRW/Northrop Grumman-IT). He was the commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software sales executive of Northrop’s Air Force NETCENTS program.
“immixGroup’s overall growth and our client service offerings benefit from a stronger relationship with the systems integrator community,” said Skip Liesegang, Vice President of Channels at immixGroup. “Ray brings a deep understanding of the SIs as well as several critical government contracts. He will help our clients find opportunities to accelerate their sales through these important channels and contract vehicles.”
“immixGroup is the ideal organization to create solid working relationships between federal systems integrators and technology companies — particularly on these contracts,” Ray Miles explained. “The breadth of our portfolio solutions, our Trusted Supplier Program, and our knowledge of the government customer give us the practical experience needed by SIs, technology companies, and our federal customers alike.”
Ray holds a BS in Business Administration from Husson University, ME, and an MBA from The American University. He is also a member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), the Air Force Association (AFA), and the Project Management Institute (PMI).
