IKFS conveyed condolence and joins with the people of South Africa for their “Leader of Nation” Nelson Mandela’s death. Indo-Kuwait Friendship Society, (a non-profit socio-cultural friendship NRI association) expresses deep sense of loss of the great leader Nelson Mandela who worked for freeing the people from the shackles of apartheid while stopping the nation from slipping into racial strife and division between the people of one country.
IKFS President Dr. Ghalib Al-Mashoor said in a statement that “The world has lost one of the greatest sons of Prophet Adam in the modern history”. Now Mandela has joined the rank of Late Indian Leader Mahatma Gandhi and Late American Leader Martin Luther King Jr. who inspired and energized their people to freedom, dignity and equal rights through non-violence (ahimsa)”.
