Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has come out to explain why Jurrien Timber was taken off early during his debut for Arsenal. Recall that the Gunners won 2-1 win against Nottingham Forest on Saturday, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, despite the player, officials and doctors deeming him fit enough to continue heading into the 2nd half, his first action in the second 45 minutes showed he had to come off.

Arteta added that the medical team will now conduct a thorough test to know where the problem lies.
His words, “The officials, the doctors, they looked at him and they were happy to continue, him as well, but straight away in the second half the first action he made a movement and it was a bit funny so we took him straight out and now we have to assess him to see what he has.”
WOW.
