‎The Ekiti State Deputy Governor, Dr Olubunmi Olusola – Eleka, was almost killed today by some APC thugs stationed along Odo Oja Area in Ikere Ekiti to ambush him. The Deputy Governor received a call that card reader machines in some polling booths were not functioning. Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has reiterated his commitment to the welfare of workers in the state, stressing that their salaries remain the priority of his administration. In a State wide broadcast over the allocations that accrue to the state for the month of March, the governor noted that though there was a shortfall, salaries of workers remain sacrosanct.
