Jim Nwobodo Former Governor of Anambra State, Senator Jim Nwobodo, has lost his eldest son, Dr. Ifeanyichukwu Nwobodo Jr., to cancer. He died at the Niger Foundation Hospital, Enugu on Friday. He had recently just returned from the United States, where he had received treatment for cancer. In order to reduce the incidence of road crashes across the country, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) will start enforcing road worthiness on vehicles, as from June 1, 2015. “Road crashes are avoidable. Indications have emerged that the Federal Government is favourably disposed to extending the state of emergency declared in Adamawa, Borno and Yobe States for a third time. It would be recalled that the emergency rule was first declared in the affected states on May 14, 2013 by President Goodluck Jonathan, who cited the need to stop the Boko Haram sect once and for all, who at the time were having a free-reign of terror.
