At least four farmers have been abducted by suspected bandits in Tudun Moriki, Zurmi Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
Security sources confirmed to Zagazola Makama that the abduction occurred around 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, while the victims were working on their farmlands.
The armed attackers reportedly stormed the area and whisked the farmers away to an undisclosed location.
Following the incident, security operatives launched a swift response, initiating a rescue operation aimed at locating the victims and apprehending the perpetrators.
As of the time of filing this report, efforts to secure the release of the abducted farmers are ongoing.
