Manchester United striker, Cristiano Ronaldo has come out to pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth II following her death. He recently had his say via his social media page, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, this is his 8th season playing in England, and throughout his years in the country, he has felt nothing but everlasting love of the UK for its Queen.
Ronaldo added that Her Majesty was and will forever be important to the British people, and his thoughts remain with the Royal family.
His words, “Seven years of my career were played in the Premier League, making this my 8th season living in England. Throughout these years, I’ve felt the everlasting love of the UK for it’s Queen, and how important Her Majesty was and will forever be to the British people. I pay my respect to her memory and I mourn this irreplaceable lost with the country that I’ve learned to call home. My thoughts and prayers are with the Royal Family.”
