About 43 people have been killed by the outlawed sect, Boko Haram in the last three days in Borno State.
30 farm workers were Thursday shot dead by suspected members of the terror group as they tilled their fields, a police source told Vanguard.
Three people, who were said to be receiving treatment in hospitals for wounds they sustained in earlier attacks were also shot dead in hospitals.
The gunmen were said to have earlier attacked Kuburvwi and Kimba villages in Damboa and Biu Local Government Areas yesterday morning, killing over 10 people and setting houses and shops ablaze.
Kuburvwi is about seven kilometres away from Chibok, while Kimba also south of Borno is about 140 kilometres drive from Maiduguri, the state capital.
Borno State has been unleashing terror on the country since 2009, with thousands of deaths recorded as the group asks for a Sharia state.
