The Federal High Court sitting in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, has on Wednesday dismissed a suit filed by the All Progressives Congress (APC) against Adekunle Akinlade, Ladi Adebutu and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). An APC chieftain, Farouk Aliyu, said the party wants Wike’s backing during the next general elections. A High Court sitting in Abakaliki on Tuesday remanded the Ebonyi South Senatorial candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Linus Okorie, in the correctional centre.
