Six persons have died in Kano after taking a locally-brewed wine during a wedding party. An eyewitness told reporters Monday that the incident happened at about 10:30pm on Sunday, adding that the deceased, who were all males aged between 20 and 22 drank the substance during the party. About 30 students of the Baptist High School, Osogbo (formerly Baptist Girls’ High School), who were suspended for alleged cultism have been rehabilitated by the state government in collaboration with the state chapter of the Parents Teachers Association (PTA).
