During a shootout with agents of the Ondo State Security Network Agency, known as Amotekun Corps, a suspected kidnapper was slain by a member of his gang. According to reports, the deceased, named as Funmi Adenuoye, was accidentally shot dead by his colleague, Kunle, while attempting to flee from Amotekun Corps troops pursuing them during a kidnapping operation.
