The Central Bank of Nigeria has given directives to Deposit Money Banks to close International Money Transfer Operators’ naira account. This was stated in a circular recently released by the Apex bank, wherein operational guidelines in respect of ‘Receipt of diaspora remittances’, was given to all Deposit Money Banks. Sokoto State government is set to distribute anti-malaria drugs and mosquito net to hospitals and health centres in the state. In furtherance of this, the Sokoto State government has reportedly obtained 1.5 million anti malaria drugs for onward distribution to the hospitals and health centres in the state. The University of Ibadan has reportedly closed down it’s health centre, Jaja Clinic after one of it’s patient tested positive to coronavirus.
